Established with the mission to provide a comprehensive platform for "Keluarga Besar Mahasiswa Sistem Informasi" (KBM SI), HIMSI aims to facilitate the development and support of students in various fields, including academics, non-academics, and other related purposes. Through its programs and initiatives, HIMSI seeks to create opportunities for students to enhance their knowledge and skills, foster a sense of community and collaboration, and prepare them for future careers in the field of information systems. First D’Information System Community Outbond (DISCO 1) are being held.
2011
DISC Officialy rebrand into HIMSI. At this generation academic purposes events such as studi banding, Seminar, and tutoring (Bimbel) were first held.
2012
AD/ART and GBHO are being official promulgated.
2013
Social Is Me (SIM) as a social event and Funsport as a competitive sport competition among KBM SI are first time being held in this year.
2015
Minor revision of AD/ART are being done.
2016
Technofest a collaboration event between HIMSI, HIMTI, and HIMASIKOM (ACES)
2017
HIMSI Factory as an official merchandise store of HIMSI are being launched.
2018
First version of ISFEST (Information System Festival) are being held this year as the combination of Funsport and Social Is Me.
2019
This year DISCO IX were the last outbonding event for the next 4 years (2019-2022).
2020
Due to COVID-19 several online events are being held such as Siberian week, ISFEST (Information System Festival), etc.
2021
Second amendment of AD/ART are being held through conferences this year, along with the birth of regeneration program HIMSI Leadership Program
2022
2 Years after pandemic several of offline program are risen in this year such as Social Is Me, Funsport, Company Visit, and DISNIGHT.
2023
After the COVID-19 pandemic has ended, all activities are being held full offline, and DISCO is being held again after being paused for three generations, now under the name DISCO X (DISCO 10)
